Following a successful project for a Kent farmer, we are now offering a brand-new conversion service.
The farmer was unhappy with the performance of his old Simba Solo 380ST but didn’t want to spend a small fortune on a new one-pass cultivator, so he contacted us.
We replaced the nine Terragrips with spring-loaded tines with six fixed legs spaced at 630mm, each with our GLX Ultra points. The new configuration with a working depth of 150 to 250mm delivers consistent soil loosening across the width of the machine. It also causes less surface disturbance and reduces ongoing maintenance costs associated with the Terragrips.
We worked closely with NRH Engineering, which fabricated the machine from S355 structural steel.
With a proven design and process, we’re now offering these bolt-on replacement wings with a three- to four-week lead time at a tenth of the cost of a comparable new one-pass cultivator. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more or discuss your requirements.
