Agricast Extends Its Tungsten Carbide Range

Posted on 5th April 2023

A leading UK supplier of replacement wearing parts has this month extended its range of Tungsten Carbide Parts.

Agricast now offers Tungsten Carbide cultivation points for the Kockerling Allrounder, Kongskilde Vibroflex,Lemken Karat and Vaderstad Topdown, as well as an expanded range of universal fitment points.

Like Agricast’s Tungsten tipped plough points and weld-on parts, the new cultivation points deliver maximum wear resistance and great value for money.

“We’ve had considerable success with our Tungsten range of parts since introducing them in 2018,” says William Robinson, managing director of Agricast. “Customers have consistently praised the quality and durability of the parts, and we’ve been keen to respond to customer demand wherever possible, which is why we have developed these new points to cater for people with Kockerling, Kongskilde, Lemken and Vaderstad machines.

“The new parts are expected to be ready in May so customers can stock up ahead of the autumn cultivation season. The new points will significantly outlast traditional steel parts which may prove invaluable if we have another dry summer like last year.”

As well as the new points, Agricast’s range of Tungsten Carbide parts are available for Gregoire Besson, Dowdeswell, Kuhn, Kverneland, Lemken, Ransomes and Rabe ploughs and Horsch, Kockerling, Simba / Great Plains and Vaderstad, cultivators. The direct replacement OEM parts are complemented by a wide range of weld-on Tungsten Carbide tiles, edge strips and points.

Established in 1987, Agricast celebrated its 35th birthday in November 2022. As well as being the UK’s leading Cambridge roll ring specialist, Agricast also supplies press rings, disc blades and subsoiler wear parts. The company also provides bespoke alterations and fabrication services.
